The filming of this was probably the most tricky. When going to our locations we found the most open and spacious places. For example, in the park I had to scout out a place that wasn't showing the road or fences in frame. This was a small nature trail but we wanted to film it in a way where we couldn't see the roads. I had to move the camera and shoot in different areas. This was like a guess and check system . Lighting also came into play. We had to make sure the sun and light was coming from a good angle so the couples looked Bright enough. Making them appear glowing was crucial in our theme. I wanted them to appear glowing and radiant because of the beauty of their love. I had to film an establishing shot at the diner and figure out how to make it look appropriate. I decided it was easier to film the establishing shot on the way out. When I went inside they sat us at a table kind of in the middle of the restaurant. So I had to film things somewhat contempt . I ended up moving the camera around to see how to film it . The environment was perfect when looking at the videos I took. The couples we're shown and the milkshake was glowing. The booths behind the couple and the pictures brought in a very comforting feel. This whole theme of comfort goes with the feel of togetherness. That was the whole idea for my video and the whole takeaway from watching it, I wanted the viewer to feel that love that the couples feel and see it through the beauty of the location.
